Next BioBrillouin conference in Exeter - REGISTRATION OPEN + ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The 10th International BioBrillouin Meeting will take place from November 30th to December 3rd 2026 in Exeter, United Kingdom. As with previous years, the meeting will bring together the international community working on all forms of Brillouin Light Scattering Spectroscopy/Microscopy for life-science and biomedical (or bio-relevant) applications, spanning also interpretation of measurements, correlative studies, standardization, instrument development, translational applications, and more…

3rd Brillouin Summer School

Jitao Zhang and Giuliano Scarcelli, the organizers of the 3rd Brillouin Summer School, look back on this year’s successful edition and share their highlights:

The 3rd Brillouin Summer School just concluded last month at MSU. This year we hosted a record-high 20 trainees representing 13 different institutions in United States. We are very grateful for the support of our industry sponsors: CrestOptics, Spectō Photonics, and LightMachinery. 

We would also like to thank Dr. Christopher Contag for delivering the opening remarks and our invited speaker Dr. Caterina Czibula, for a wonderful talk. It was also a great opportunity to learn about exciting research in biomechanics and mechanobiology being conducted our trainees. 

We have two more years to go, and we look forward to welcoming you next year!
